A little play with long exposure.

To my defence i only saw the sign on the way back!
Very cool short cut to the beach and Pier.
Sunrise at Lake Daylesford, Victoria
The glow of a beautiful morning with the warm sun, colouring the world around me.
A great way to start my day.
My landmark from Lake Daylesford
The Little Jetty was what i saw at first light and came back for it on my way out back to the car. Super sweet.
The weather was perfect, unfortunately no clouds.

A little trip out to Gordon, Victoria
Last time I was out there i joined a Pano workshop, being a little late in the day I decided to go back a couple of days ago to recreate this pano, while i was there I met David who was renovating this charming old building while he told took me through and told me about the future plans, a Middle eastern restaurant, yum. I have to say he is doing a great job the owners will be pleased., he also told me about the history of the place.
Part of the building was an old pub and butcher, back in its day.
A stay from Mother Theresa, and some great old pics of what it looked like added to a great 10 minute story, then time to set up for my pano shot.
Our conversation finished with the heads up about a town close by, coming up next!
I for one am looking forward to dining in at Gordon Bleu
69 Main Street, Gordon, 3345
You will find this new restaurant in front of Gordon Town Hall in the main street.
A fantastic place for a special portrait, I’ve enjoyed a few meals and drinks here over time. I love the character of the old pub. I was lucky enough to have access to the seller where they hold private functions, a little spooky, a great conversation starter thats for sure.
A Great find, cruising around with my kids during summer holidays.
A very sweet town full of history.
Situated between Geelong and Ballarat, Steiglitz is almost a ghost town today but in the 1860s and 1890s it was a busy goldmining township with hotels, shops, churches and a population of over 1000. At the height of the 1860s gold rush, Steiglitz township had more than 1500 residents, four hotels, a newspaper, a variety of shops and even an undertaker.
Now most of the town and its surroundings are included in the Steiglitz Historic Park. Enjoy a pleasant bushwalk, relax with a picnic or pan for gold. Of course, a trip to the park wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Steiglitz Court House, with its display of photographs, maps and relics of gold year. The court house is open on Sunday and public holidays, and at other times by arrangement.
Steiglitz Historic Park is about 80km west of Melbourne. Take the Princes Highway to Werribee and follow the signs for about 40km to Anakie and Steiglitz. Alternatively, approach from Geelong, Bacchus Marsh or Ballan.

Sunset at Walls of China, Lake Mungo, NSW
Last stop of the Lake Mungo circuit
The walls of China
We couldn’t get a tour, so we decided to have a wonder around, respectfully not jumping any fences,
I fell in love with that tree from a distance, although I didn’t take my long lens with me so that was that.
A lovely local tour guide spotted my travel companion and invited us in, how kind was that!
Graham was really friendly and allowed us to wonder in until sunset.
My feet still full of blisters upon blisters from the last few weeks,
I went in!!!
YOU only live once!
Graham was also kind enough to give me not one but two bottles of water.
Really nice to chat with him and watch the sunset..
You can find Graham with all his local wisdom through,
