“It’s like the people who believe they’ll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn’t work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you. If you see what I mean.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book

Random Acts of Kindness

Random acts of kindness, it takes so little to acknowledge the existence of others, with just a few words.

I have travelled far and wide and the one thing that all people have in common, language barrier or not,

It is the need to be seen, to be heard, to be understood.

Embrace all as brothers and sisters.

There is an invisible strength within us; when it recognizes two opposing objects of desire, it grows stronger.

12 hours today of beach combing, with two stop off’s for great meals,

Breakfast at Bird Rock Cafe

and well earned cider at Batemans Hotel

with a yum small dinner.

Gold and Black sand, something i have never seen before.

Will Definitely be back for another visit.

Mr Taft

Meet Mr Taft!
On my way back from a country drive on Friday I saw Mr Taft, quietly working away on his passion. I had to stop and say hello, nothing is more heartwarming listening to people tell you about what they love, his eyes lit up while telling me about his 2nd place price in National “Box” competition, about his wife that has passed and his wood shop he ran with her, what a pleasant inspiring bloke a great reminder of following your heart, just because.
He was making this piece for the neighbour, so if you are ever that way, stop and say hello, be kind

A little people watching of a bright sunny end of summer day, The harsh midday sunlight provided a little fun for me as i watched people go by from the top of the bridge looking down the Yarra River in Melbourne. A great day to capture a few Random people doing their thing while i do mine

Night Train

It was 7.30 in the evening and mostly quiet while people boarded the train only the music they provided, We needed to walk through gravel, yellow tape and well it all looked like a construction area, the only light available was that from the train. It felt like we were escaping in the middle of the night.
I’m not sure how long people had been travelling for but most seems ready for sleep as the train was ready to leave.
